The GSB is dedicated to preparing graduates of the Stanford MBA Program to lead institutions spanning the private and nonprofit sectors, governments, and every imaginable area of human endeavor. In order to encourage MBA's to make meaningful contributions to social issues, economic growth, and political stability in organizations where salaries are typically lower, the GSB has developed a loan forgiveness program to reduce the financial impact of their GSB educational debt.

The GSB Nonprofit/Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program supports MBA graduates entering the nonprofit and public service sectors.
