Caleb has approached his career with a deep commitment to advancing social progress and equity. He most recently worked as an independent consultant advising philanthropists and social enterprise leaders in the fields of economic mobility, journalism, criminal justice reform, early childcare education, and education. Caleb’s most recent full-time role was at Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, where he oversaw job training programs serving individuals overcoming barriers to professional success with an emphasis on opportunities that allowed workers to earn and learn. Previously, Caleb held a variety of roles at Samaschool, the first nonprofit focused on preparing low-income workers to navigate the gig economy while advocating for a gig economy that treated workers fairly. Caleb has been a community organizer, and has also helped governments utilize pay-for-success mechanisms to solve pressing humanitarian concerns. Caleb earned a BA from Macalester College, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
