As associate director of the Research Fellows Program, Emily manages all day-to-day program operations and logistics, including overseeing admissions and standard track project assignments; onboarding new fellows; and counseling, advising, and supporting the fellows throughout their time in the program.

Prior to starting at Stanford GSB, Emily earned her PhD in education policy, organization, and leadership in higher education, focusing on issues of race and racism in universities. Her career in higher education has encompassed multiple roles in student and academic affairs, including working at the Stanford Department of Mathematics as the undergraduate program coordinator and student services specialist before beginning her program.
