Research Statement
I study corporate sustainability, with a focus on employee well-being.
I apply a sociological lens to integrate organizational behavior with strategy. One line of work examines the macro-foundations (e.g., social networks) of employee health and happiness as strategic human capital. Another line of work looks at the micro-foundations (e.g., social evaluation) of corporate communications on sociopolitical issues as stakeholder strategy.
My work leverages field interventions to inform evidence-based management. It was cited by the UK Government and the WHO and was covered by the Wall Street Journal. It received a R&R from the Administrative Science Quarterly and was published in top-tier medical journals. It also won a AoM Best Student Paper award.
