GSB Women’s Circles

Women’s Circles are small groups of GSB alumni who gather monthly in the interest of connecting, reflecting, supporting, and inspiring one another to live our best lives. As one of the fastest-growing alumni programs with over 1,000 members, each circle creates meaningful relationships by connecting with and supporting each other — both personally and professionally — so that each of us can thrive, however, she defines it.

Women’s Circles are not networking groups but a place to find deep connections across diverse experiences and perspectives. Diversity — across generations, work experiences, family choices, ethnicities, and cultures, amongst other facets — and creating a safe and inclusive environment have been core organizing principles from the beginning.

Support GSB Women’s Circles

Please join us in GSB Women’s Circles’ first fundraiser by giving directly to the program that gives so much to Women’s Circles members. Double Your Impact! Through 12/31/24, your gift goes further thanks to matching funds by Michelle Clayman, MBA ’79. Your contribution will help enhance programming elements, expand tools and resources, and support deeper connections with members worldwide.

What Are Women’s Circles?

Hear from GSB alumnae how Women’s Circles work and how they affect alums’ day-to-day lives.

Becoming a Circle Member

GSB Women’s Circles are formed only once a year and are open to all Stanford GSB alumni. Members are asked to commit to at least one year in a circle, to allow time for development of trust and mutual understanding.

Membership in each circle is carefully crafted by the Regional Leadership Board to ensure diversity across many spectrums — generation, ethnicity, work status, industry, relationship status, family situation, and more. This diversity enhances the value of the relationships which develop within a circle. Diversity also enriches the support members provide one another.

Regional Circles

In-person circles are organized in 21 geographic regions in the U.S. and internationally. If you are interested in bringing in-person GSB Women’s Circles to your location, submit an interest form.
