In 22 years of service in the Indian Army, Ajay has led several strategic missions. He managed men in the highest battlefield in the world — Siachen, Kashmir — and conceptualized projects that brought conflict transformation to more than 20,000 civilians in the region. Over the years, having transitioned from working in the battlefield to managing equipment in the high-altitude Himalayan sector, Ajay gained deep operational and supply chain experience. He instituted the strategic restructuring of the ammunition supply chain feeding into the conflict area of Siachen. Along with members of the Air Force, he devised a more effective supply chain infrastructure that enhanced battle readiness there. Ajay leads a club called Green Shoots, encouraging villagers to follow eco-sustainable farming practices.
