Erick is passionate about renewables, the space where he has acted for more than ten years. As a portfolio manager at Brookfield, Erick oversaw $2 billion in assets (hydro, solar, wind, and biomass plants) and energy transactions totaling $375 million per year, helping to increase revenues 15% and 10% in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In this role, he was also responsible for commercial DDs in M&A deals worth $2 billion in the Latin American region. Previously, Erick was planning and risk manager for Renova Energia, a Brazilian pioneer player in wind power, where he helped to structure the energy trading and oversaw about $1 billion in assets and a turnover of $200 million per year.
