Jia Kai has held multiple leadership and command appointments in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. As the head of strategy for the organization, he works directly with senior leadership to chart the long-term road maps and strategic direction for the Air Force. He has led several major reviews, across the domains of capability acquisition, operations, and human resources development, to drive a more streamlined and innovative organizational setup. In his previous appointment, as commanding officer of an operational flying squadron, Jia Kai was responsible for the standards, morale, discipline, and training of more than 100 people from varied backgrounds, and oversaw a range of operations both in Singapore and overseas.
