Puneet is an experienced technologist and entrepreneur. With the goal of keeping people out of harm’s way, he founded Radianx Robotics, an Indian startup that specializes in building autonomous systems to inspect large structures like windmills and bridges. Puneet was named one of the top 93 Indian entrepreneurs, out of 16,000 applicants, in “The Economic Times” Power of Ideas program in 2010. After six years of managing his startup, he moved to Pittsburgh to pursue a research-based master’s degree in robotics. At Carnegie Mellon, he focused on machine learning, localization, and mapping for robots. He is particularly interested in bringing robots into everyday life, especially caring for the elderly and assisting the differently abled.
