Before coming to Stanford, Rohit headed up category development for new-generation products at ITC, one of India’s foremost enterprises in fast-moving consumer goods. The multibusiness company has a turnover of US $8 billion and market capitalization of US $45 billion. Rohit has 12 years of rich experience spanning roles in operations and supply chain. Earlier in his ITC career, as the head of manufacturing for its largest business, Rohit spearheaded operations strategy and change management for a manufacturing network of 10 cigarette production facilities, deploying around 150 managers and 2,400 workers.
