Shinmyoung is a management consultant who has expertise in developing strategy, mostly for the industrial goods and services industries, including the energy, metal, and chemical sectors. During his 12-year career in management consulting services, he has engaged in multiple projects designing solutions for corporations’ critical issues and executing them across multiple geographies. These included growth strategy, merger and acquisition due diligence, performance improvement, and transformation. Most of his consulting work was done for major Korean conglomerates: Samsung, LG, Hanwha, and Posco. Before Bain, Shinmyoung worked for Booz & Co. and Accenture, where he led various strategic and operational excellence projects and developed expertise in the energy and manufacturing industries.
